Welcome to Old Beacon Hill, once an old railway station at the heart of KwaZulu-Natal, now two beautiful self-catering cottages. Set in stunning, tranquil surrounds we are the ideal platform to discover what the Midlands Meander, Drakensberg and Battlefields have to offer. Arts, crafts, game reserves, food and drink, outdoor pursuits, historical monuments, relaxation and sports are all within easy reach of our accommodation.

Old Beacon Hill has two properties for guests, each is semi-detached with their own large garden, braai facilities, three double rooms (catering for up to six adults and as many infants under three as you can squeeze in) A large dining area and living area. Each property has a bathroom/shower, separate toilet and one bedroom in each property has their own 'en-suite'. There are ample grounds to explore that contains a stream, a pond and just outside your garden gate is a gazebo which is torch-lit in the evening where you can relax and enjoy the sunsets with you favourte tipple.

We wanted idyllic, tranquil and peaceful - and that's just what we experienced at Old Beacon Hill. Accommodation lacked nothing and Ed and Adele were helpful and unobtrusive. Recommended to the weary seeking a bit of solace.

It was fantastic! The property is secure, the rooms and living area are spacious and neat. Very homely and child friendly. The scenery is beautiful and very tranquil. Warm & friendly hosts who made us feel very welcome. You know how it is said, "what you see is what you get", well at Old Beacon Hill, you get so much more! Can't wait for our next holiday. Thank you Ed and Adelle - we really appreciate how you made our stay such a comfortable and memorable one!
